The Liberian Cultural Dance Group have been participating in Ausdance NT events since 2009. Debra Leasy Poe and her Group debuted at our “Dancing in the Sand” public dance ground event up next to “The Lighthouse” venue for Darwin Festival last year and brought immense joy and energy to this wonderful outdoor performance venue.
They have since been Ausdance NT’s guest performers for the MoveMeNT Dance Expo in March this year and will again take part in the Darwin Festival Dancing in the Sand Event for 2010. Their music and dances are exciting and full of life and we are so pleased to be able to bring them down to the Merrepen Arts Festival!
