iMoves (Independent Movers) 2010 presents choreographic works by selected artists, providing an up-to-the-minute picture of the vibrant contemporary dance scene in the NT.

Julia Gray from Sunameke will present her latest new work “The Centipede and Her Odd Shoe”, a solo dance work development incorporating film and photography with original music by James Mangohig and Julia Gray.

Ausdance NT’s next instalment of iMoves for 2010 will incorporate choreographic treats from Dusty Dance Feet Collective and Alex Jordan with Darwin Dance Collective members. These two works will go through a collaborative process with Choreographic Facilitator, Susan Van Den Ham, weaving moments of melding thread throughout the two pieces to create a seamless and exciting new work for audiences to sink their minds and eyes into.
